Thoughts on Micro Private Equity ($3M - $7M EV)
Does anyone have experience working with or in a Micro Private Equity firm doing deals at the very bottom of the lower middle market and even sniffing the SMB space? Think valuation ranges of $3M - $7M and firms like Tiny Capital. The investments are of course riskier and far more operational involvement is needed but if done right the MOIC can be very good and there is far less competition for those types of deals. Does anyone see a world where family offices would underwrite these deals?
