Prep for PE - Small Team

Hey guys, currently a second year analyst at an M&A group at a BB in NY. This summer I will be joining a small PE group with me being the 5th person on the team. Curious to know how people prepped for roles like that? Assume I will have to take on more responsibility and role will be less streamlined than my current job. How would you recommend I best prepare myself over the next few months? Appreciate any insight / advice!
