Studying Business Abroad Questions...

I will be studying abroad the semester after I graduate and am looking for suggestions in regards to where to go.

I'm currently considering LSE or Peking University (formerly Beijing University) for business/econ - was also looking into Oxford / Cambridge, but it seems like they offer mainly English/classical studies summer programs...

Any good schools or programs I should know about - looking primarily into Europe.

Please advise - all help is appreciated! Thanks.

Peking University is going to be a lot of fun... living down in Haidian district can be a little bit ghetto, but there's also a ton of students down there and a lot of silly bars and so on in Wudaokou (close to PKU) that you'll frequent. You can also take a cab downtown for a negligable amount of money (despite the fact that it takes 45 minutes) and then you have like infinite places to party.

If you don't speak a word of Chinese it would be tough though. Most people in that part of town can't speak a single word of english.... and taking cabs places is going to be a huge challenge. Yes, pronouncing 1 single phrase is going to be impossible your first 2 weeks here, and the drivers will have NO IDEA what you are saying : )

if you've studied 1 year of chinese or something, enough to say 1-2 full sentences and pronounce words kind of correctly, I'd suggest PKU. I studied there when I was in college... it was sick. And now that I work in China when I drop the fact that i spent a semester there it's like dropping the fact that I went to Harvard in the US (PKU = harvard of China) and I get mad respect.
