My gift to you has ten zeroes
With it being the holidays and knowing that a few Bankers here love this scene I felt this was appropriate.
How many of you here are cringing at the fact that you might be working Christmas Eve?
Got to love work/life balance.
Happy Holidays WSO.
I am working. no big deal
Baby Jesus don't like this thread!!!!
Regards
One of my favorite Nicholas Cage movies. First thing I'm doing when I move to NYC is singing Rigoletto while in boxers overlooking the skyline.
I can only wish to have that apartment. The blonde was not bad either.
she looks better in the bowling alley scene
wrong girl....
Epic scene
Not working tomorrow...but only because the building is closed, and he doesn't want to have to request any overtime A/C.
If I were single, would be not be a big deal either way, but now I have a bf I want to visit.
Sitting on a deal for almost a year, plan my short vacation around when my boss is going to be out of the office... he then decides not to go and try and get the deal done by year end, so I am working my whole vacation... FML.
Pretty sure this was filmed in Toronto. In fact, I work right next to that black building.
Nevermind, I was wrong.
I didn't know they had flat panel TVs in 1999. Weird.
Anyone actually planning on doing anything at work today?
ahhh the Family Man....
I would watch this movie if it didn't have Nicholas Cage in it.
thanks for the post...I'll watch this as i lie on the couch thinking about all the poor monkeys out there!
Will have to enjoy it before i join them!
Movie should have ended right there!
On-call, aka working. It's all good.
excellent movie, watched it again yesterday
A completely underrated movie. This should be part of the 25 days of Christmas.
NO MONTY IT IS THE SAME GIRL! She plays a dual part of the sl*tty neighbor in the alternate reality and the escourt in the actual reality.
really?
Nope, not the same girl.
Ahh Nicholas Cage.
Haha what were all those movies? I don't think I've seen more than four or five of those.
Dude, Nicolas Cage is a ridiculous actor. Love or hate his movies, the guy can act, although I hear he's a terrible money manager.
Don't know why people hate on Cage. He's a great actor. And this is a great movie, so reflective of Wall Streeters, the way the he looked at his alternative wardrobe had me cracking up.
Yeah, some of his movies have been weak, but I've really liked (off the top of my head):
Frankly, I can't think of a Cage movie that I've personally seen (and I'm no movie buff so I've seen about 10 of his movies) that I haven't liked.
National Treasure sucks ass.
The rock, Leaving Las Vegas (his best film ever), Con Air, Face Off, Adaptation. He used to know how to pick them.
Now he just does too many movies.
He lost all his money so he needs to do as many films as possible and just get his quote rather than worry about the quality of the script.
Well, you're completely wrong if you think the National Treasure movies sucked. They were entertaining, if not fantastical, and relatively free of vulgarity. A fun family movie that taught some history for once.
National Treasure (just like Pirates 1) was a good film. The sequels were garbage designed to sucker people into seeing a crap film because of its brand.
I would not lump National Treasure 2 in with the unadulterated crap of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3, although I'll admit that National Treasure 2 was not as good. But yeah, there is a parallel in that both National Treasure and Pirates sequels tried WAY too hard.
