For those in the Menlo park branches of banks (MS TMT, BAML SF) where are you guys living once you start FT? Asking as prospective thinking about life after COVID.
The best places to live in that area are as follows:
Disclaimer: These prices are on the low end.
1. Menlo-Atherton (rent is like $10-40k / month if you get a house - you won’t find apartments here)
2. Woodside (5-10k /month - unlikely you will find an apartment)
3. Los Altos Hills (3-4K /month - unlikely you will find an apartment)
4. Mountain View (2-3k / month - you might get an apartment)
5. Beg for more money or buy a car and live in Tracy because just about every other place in the Valley costs upwards of (2k / month)
Its a killer to commute that far. BART doesnt go that far so you have to transfer to CalTrain. Driving in the bay blows. You are better off living in San Jose.

Dude you probably gotta pick a nearby city like Santa Clara etc ( within 15ish min drive). Or else there goes half your salary on rent
