I have not yet tried it and I've heard really mixed things about online dating in terms of the quality of people who you'll be able to meet.

after years of being single, finally, i directed my attention to online dating app some time ago. unlike my expectation, we decided to go on a date to theme park. I jumped at the idea. Yes. That is what I want. We ended up having a great time. I think we were there for over six hours, talking the whole time, and at the end of the date we swooped in for a kiss.

Online dating is a numbers game. You will swipe right on hundreds, talk to a few dozen, have meaningful conversation with a handful and actually date 1 or 2 but if you keep at it, dont settle and know what you are looking for and go after people you really hit it off with, you’ll find your life partner one day. OR you’ll be on a dating app for a while and meet the love of your life in person and the app would render useless. Either way, you’ll find the one. Just have to try
This is it. Online dating sucks but so does waiting around waiting for someone you like to walk into your life. With online you can at least put it into your own hands a bit more and go on more dates.

If you never try, you never know. The most common thing you'll notice on online dating apps is varieties of scams and scammers. But if you're lucky, you'll get connected with a genuine soul with whom you can live happily (short term or long term).
You are absolutely correct on that from my experience.
those words came from my own experience. I do not want to mention the name of the app but I paid for it and ended up being scammed. Luckily just once. I rather be on sugardating app where both the SD and SB are transparent and straightforward. At least I am not there with any emotional expectations.

It really is a numbers game, the biggest problem is that a lot and I mean a lot of women go way overboard with the filters and pictures from the optimum angles.I have had a bunch of chicks that were at least 10kg heavier than in their pictures. bad skin etc.
But it is convenient, i find it amusing to swipe when I am taking a shit or something. And once in a while you catch a quality girl.
However i think approaching girls in real life is a far better option.
I met my current SO on an online app. I think it would be generous to call the primary goal of the app "dating" though.
