Do You Guys Just Ever Get The Urge To Move To A New State Or Country?

Do you guys ever just get the urge to do something crazy, like move to a new state or country (for at least a couple years)? I feel that way all the time for some reason. I constantly think about how cool it'd be to just up and move to places like California, Hawaii, or The Southeast. Or, maybe even better, I think about trying to land a job in a place like Singapore, Hong Kong, or Japan. Am I the only one, or do you guys dream about doing that as well?

All the time my friend. I live in a small city in Canada, so I am pretty excited about working in NYC for 10 weeks.

I'm in the process of moving to my 3rd state since graduating college four years ago. If you're getting the urge to try something new, I highly recommend it. Exploring and learning a new city can be extremely fun if you're up for the challenge. I love meeting new people, making new friends, and generally being out on my own. While I haven't gone "international" yet, my long term plan is to eventually transition to Europe so hopefully I'll be able to pull that off. The longer you wait, the harder it seems to get, so pull the trigger if you're thinking about it.

+1

Love meeting new people, but gets hard if you're stuck in the same routine.

All the time. Especially when I look at some of the trash in London. I love football but football hooliganism really pisses me off. Us British are not that civilised.

Ideally move to somewhere a bit more sunny, maybe Sydney, Dubai, etc or where there's the culture like in London but doesnt have the nonsense rest, i.e. Toronto.

I currently have 48 hours left in Barcelona before I head back to nyc after four months here. transitioning back to the states is going to be a challenge. I know I'm completely biased, but this is the greatest city I've ever travelled to and could see myself coming back for a few years once I have the means to do so.

and oh yeah fc barca is the GREATEST team in any country or any sport. campeones del mundo!

I've got a villa in Barcelona for the summer. It's my first time there. Can't wait.

Yeah, hell yeah. But I wouldn't put Cali and Hawaii in the same category as the southeast. It's really not that cool.

Agreed. I just feel like I'd like The Southeast for some reason - haha.

Just curious but what do you like about it? I've lived here for the majority of my life and can't wait to get out. There are strict restrictions on buying alcohol on sundays, there's only like 1 big city and hicks like half an hour out from it.

The south does know how to make the best damn chicken though. http://zaxbys.com/home.aspx
