Although a White House Official walked this back isn't this a bit of a point of return in this situation of the Taiwanese question....
Especially since Xi is expected to be granted "president for life status" which would allow him to exert more aggression in Taiwan as he seeks to tighten his grip on China wth no fear of ouster
While there are many reasons why China would not invade Taiwan, what Biden is doing is quite unhelpful. Strategic ambiguity seemed to be a fine status quo. Don't understand why the old man keeps doing this.
