Stay in IB or try for grad school?

Hello, I am an real estate investment banking analyst at a regional bank in the south east. I hope to do REPE or development after my 2 years are up. Should I try to go directly from IB to REPE/development or would I be better off trying to get an MSRE/MSRED first? I think I have the GPA, leadership experience, and test scores to give me a good shot of getting into a top program, but not sure if that would be necessary for my career. Alternatively, I could aim to get a top MBA, but I think an MSRE would be more applicable. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Follow up: If MSRE/MSRED makes the most sense, should I target an Ivy for the brand name like Columbia or Cornell? Or, since I want to stay in the southeast long term, would it make more sense to target schools like Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, UNC, etc?

Thank you!
