Investment Banking spring weeks

I am an incoming first-year student at a target university(outside London) and I wanted to know what steps I should take to land a spring week in my first year. I heard applications open pretty early so should I try to do an internship in my home country over the summers to get some experience?

So Warwick?

Yes any internship before uni (finance or not) is good. Any retail jobs do well for spring weeks as well for some reason.

I’d also focus on getting your CV up to standards, getting it checked by people when uni starts. Some banks open before Uni starts and I would apply on the first few days to maximise chances.

I think the trick is to just apply VERY early. Have as many apps in as possible before the general uni crowd starts figuring out what a spring week is.
