HELP!! GRAD SCHOOL IN BOSTON WORTH IT?

I need help with a decision on if going to grad school in the U.S is wise. I’ll start this off by saying that my goal in life is to work in the Boston area in AM. Recently I got into Bentley Universities M.Sc in Financial Analytics. A key selling point being that they offer a 3 year visa after graduation to international students. Though I am happy that I got in, I want to know how Bentley is perceived by the finance community in Boston. What I am essentially asking is, if you are in charge of hiring someone and you see Bentley University M.Sc on a resume, what is coming to mind? Will this be someone you consider for a job? Another concern that has come to mind is, I am essentially going there with no network. This could obviously be resolved once I get to the school but definitely more difficult if you are going in with no connections.

If I do end up going I would be taking on a lot of debt to do so. Therefore my mind would be at ease if I knew my job prospects were legitimate.

I don’t know if this will add any context to the matter but I am Canadian.

Please any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey thank you for the reply I appreciate it a lot. Though I have looked into the idea of off cycle internships, unfortunately due to my visa, I would only be allowed to legally work off campus after my first full school year (end of 2024-2025 school year). Do you think it would still be possible for me to land an internship for summer 2025?
