Now that I have your attention from a clickbait title (apologies, bit urgent) - would really appreciate your thoughts on the below:

Moving laterally after being affected as part of restructuring/lay offs (completely out of the blue) and deciding between two alternatives. For some context, currently an Analyst 3 and have done M&A for 2.5 years in London/Frankfurt.

Harris Williams - Join as A3, expected to be in Analyst seat for atleast 1 year with possible early A2A promotion summer 2024, but they have a winter cycle so YE 2024 promotion more a guarantee

Lincoln - Join as A3, promotion end of this year (2023)

I understand HW is slightly better name in terms of brand/sponsor connections/deal size but as per above requires 1 (if not 1.5y as an Analyst). Lincoln is less recognised but comparable as a MM shop, also delves into debt advisory/placements where HW only does M&A.

Pay is the same, team culture is the same, HW more of a sweatshop arguably.
