Haha... very true indeed... no offense to a good bank but people see Citi as merely a financial behemoth without much quality... problem of being too big and having the retail banking part which hurts perception

 

I can second that post from Bankerspi. Citi is widely called "Shittygroup"... and is also currently topping many (perhaps most) league tables. And I've heard the exit opps are fine.

 

actually if you read the latest Thomson, Citi actually does fewer deals than MS, JP, ML. Which means they make more in fees per deal. Everyone is bad mouthing Citi and JP because they are the big hitters these days.

 

A person I know, who is Indian, Paki, or something like that, has difficulty saying certain words.

At his interview with Citigroup, he said something along the lines of "I vant to vork for Shitigloup because...."

Needless to say that he was promptly shown the door by shitty group.
