Investment Banking Job Posts
Hi all - i've been noticing a lot of investment banking analyst roles at a variety of shops around the country, which I'm sure is attributed to 1st or 2nd year analysts leaving for better opportunities or because it became too much to handle. As such, I'm looking to break into banking but don't have any prior banking experience. Currently a Senior Analyst at a real estate private equity firm ($70B AUM) doing acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, and capital markets work. Went to an east coast non-target w/ a 3.0 GPA, Econ major. Any suggestions of how to get into banking with this background at the analyst level? If it's not possible, is getting an MBA worth it to join as an Associate? Figured that the plethora of open roles might make it easier to break in given the demand for analysts?
