I want to break into Bank of America Dcm or Levfin

Hi all, I recently interned for BofA in their Treasury division and learned a ton. I have had 6 internships and I'm a senior at a non-target school, I have obtained 3 FT offers. Now I've accepted my BofA offer to return to Charlotte to do my rotational program with them. I have passed my SIE and have read through both the series 7 and 79 manuals to get a better understanding of the Capital markets, side note just read the 7 it teaches you everything thats in 79 while getting more knowledge on risk mgmt. My goal is get into a DCM or Levfin role with BofA. If I want to get one of these roles what else should I be doing besides networking with industry professionals because I already know the Reg material that comes with the roles. Thanks!

The exam stuff doesn't really matter, unfortunately. For most people, all of the exams together are a few weeks of studying and then forgotten... and having the SIE/training manuals doesn't really get you far, except as a way to learn finance perhaps.

I would wait to network. You're going to have to start FT and do at least 1 year in treasury, maybe 2 depending on the program. Once you're ~3-6 months from when you can lateral, start networking internally - ideally for seats in Charlotte and you can move to NY down the road if you want.
