Hey all, currently a SA at a Mid-BB who's applying to EBs/top-BBs for full time.
I'm not sure how I should structure my networking outreach emails. Should I mention that I'm at a Mid-BB in my email? Or just structure it as a general want to learn more about their bank/experiences?
I would absolutely mention - gives you more credibility than 95% of the other networking emails they get so might as well introduce yourself as “rising senior at X school and currently working as IB summer analyst at [Citi]”. Certainly can’t hurt
i know some ppl include experiences you had for your SA recruiting email just to show interest in finance. i don't see the reason not to include the fact that you're interning at x bank now
Usually yeah, the more emails you send especially when first building a relationship with a banker the bigger chance that they ghost you, so I tend to get as much said as I can in as few emails as possible. For the most part, they don't find it to presumptuous as it helps them also get to know you before hopping on call. That's just my 2 cents though.

Should you attach your resume in networking emails generally speaking or is that not a good idea?

Any updates on how you ended up doing it? In a similar situation now
