College junior trying to make a switch from AM to IBD

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a junior at a top target (think UM, UVA, NYU), but studying computer science in the Engineering school at university (therefore a fairly low GPA --> 3.3ish) and attempting to move over to IBD for full time. Doing AM at a BB (think UBS, CS, Barclays) this upcoming summer in NYC and was wondering what banks and groups within those banks are feasible targets for me. Hoping to get into M&A, LevFin or a TMT, Industrials group somewhere. Also was wondering if I could get an update/timeline into 2020 FT recruiting/if I should be doing something to prepare right now?

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I am currently lost on what I should be doing.

Thanks,
