Citi LatAm Group - IB

I keep reading on different threads that Citi's LatAm Group for IB is top tier, and has great deal flow, but they have the worst culture...
Could anyone share some insight as to why this is? What exactly defines 'bad' culture in a specific IB group (apart from the long hours)?
Thanks!

high deal flow = lots of work = long hours = everyone around you is stressed = bad culture

Culture is dependent on the people in the office. However, from the analyst level and without meeting every group, deal flow/"culture" is a tradeoff. Top tier groups you're going to get grinded for 2 years and burnt out. Less busy groups you might leave the office earlier but get less deal experience and exits.
