Banking Advisory Intern @ Moody's to break into IB?

Hi all,

I'm a penultimate year Econ student studying at University College London and I have just received an offer to join as a Banking Advisory Intern @ Moody's within their Banking Advisory team.

I was just wondering if anyone has any takes on how this role which is obviously in Credit Rating can be leveraged to get a grad offer or even a summer offer (considering doing a Master's) in IB?  I know one guy that moved from Fitch as a grad to Wells Fargo IB as an analyst but he might just be exceptional and every year these applications are getting more competitive.

Cheers guys.
