OIS rate
my doubt is regarding what is an OIS rate? is it the floating or the fixed rate in the OIS?
The john Hull book says that "The fixed rate in an OIS is referred to as the overnight indexed swap rate."
The bloomberg feed shows the USD OIS curve which is the fed funds effective rate in the short leg and the swap rates in the long end?
really confused. any help would be appreciated.thanks a lot
