Intern Investing into 401(K)
I am currently 20 years old and a rising junior with a strategy/corp-fin gig at a very large F100 company for this summer. They offer a super generous 401(K) contribution of 75% on the first 8%. I can contribute up to 50% of my paycheck during my 12 weeks here.
The question is, should I maximize this opportunity and contribute the entire 50%? I am fortunate enough to have a supporting family and my internship is also remote so I am just staying at home. With my pay, I can contribute almost $2k a month and start the retirement early. I already have a Roth setup also and was planning on making this a Roth account as well.
Would you contribute the 50% every paycheck in my position? looking for help and any other recommendations you may have, thanks!
