How to manage currency exposure / risk?

European Monkeys -

How do you guys manage currency exposure when it comes to your investments?

Around 1/3 of my savings are Euro denominated while the other 2/3s are British Pounds.
Half of my money is sitting around in ETFs while the other half is in cash.

While the underlying country basket of the ETF should provide enough diversification in terms of currency exposure, I am always inclined to simplify my accounts and holdings.

Do you have a policy when it comes to currency exposure, or do you align your holdings to your current residency?

Looking forward to your thoughts!
