Giving Away Boss Suits in NYC
Hey guys,
I am trying to free-up some closet space and have some (lightly worn) suits for which I'd like to find better homes (e.g., for you guys who may be interviewing soon). They are a few years old, but I haven't worn any of them in a while. They are all Boss (black label) suits, size 42R jackets and 36 pants. I am 5'11" and about 200 lbs, for reference.
I live in Hoboken but work in Midtown East... I prefer to meet somewhere in Hoboken but could potentially be compelled to bring the suits near my office.
-Plain navy, 2 button, flat front, no cuff
-Subtle line-pattern navy, 2 button, flat front, no cuff
-Charcoal, 2 button, flat front, no cuff
-Heather gray, 3 button, pleats, cuffs
I also have a number of decently conservative Charles Tyrwhitt barrel-cuff shirts, all in 16/34 extra tailored fit size. Some of these I've not even worn (they were snug when I bought them but started lifting shortly after, they don't fit anymore).
Post or send me a PM... just let me know why you need a suit.
Thanks!
Thanks! Hopefully some WSO folks will benefit from this.
If you have any that don't go, you can get a tax deduction by giving them to the Salvation Army. These guys do a really good job of getting drug addicts and the homeless back on their feet, and there's one about a mile from the Hoboken PATH:

But I think these suits will be more valued in the hands of any WSO people who show up to pick them up.
Interested in plain navy. New member and I can't PM yet, though.
I would like the suit to freshen up my outfit for prospective meetings in NYC.
This is really nice of you! +1 for you sir. I think WSO can now apply to Bschool given it has finally crossed the rubicon and adopted charity work LOL
Very cool of you to do! As illini has already said, you can get tax incentives if you decide not to give away to WSO-ers
Awesome. Also good to see a fellow Hoboken monkey
Sent you a PM, CEP; let me know if you can't respond to it.
Super nice of you, sb'ed.
CEP, I never heard back from you.
Are you still interested? Let me know, and I'll PM you my email if that's more convenient.
