Credit Risk at UBS
I recently received an offer from UBS risk management and my first rotation is in credit risk. Depending on the firm, I've heard that risk could be closer to FO/BO. What is it like at UBS? I'd love to gain more insights into the risk control rotational program, specifically the credit risk group at UBS. Is it a solid opportunity? thanks
Out of curiosity what’s comp structure?
Also I have ft offer for same at BB. It seemed pretty respected/closer to FO, obviously lower bonuses but also less hourz.
65k base. It’s good to get some exposure and develop a solid skillset. You would be heavily involved in the transactions and also do portfolio monitoring. They review the inputs and assumptions of the modeling and also general analysis done by the FO. Hours are okay. 60 hours/ week. But there is a lot of check boxes and reporting related task that are no fun involved.
