Transfer to London - Currently employed as an Associate for an energy consulting company

I'm currently employed as an Associate for an Energy consulting company. I've been with my company 2 months and I'm so happy to be here. However, working in Europe has always been my passion, as I'm fluent in English, French, and German. I've spent 1 year working in Europe, but came home (USA) to start my professional career/could no longer legally stay in Europe. Our firm has a "partner" company that operates out of London and does consulting for the rest of Europe. It is literally my dream job. If i want to put in a transfer request, how long do I need to wait to do it, and what do I need to be doing between now and then to maximize my chances? I currently do not hold an MBA. I would be willing to take on all moving costs/Visa costs/ etc. as well as pursue an MBA once I am in Europe. I really want to move to Europe, as it is everything I have worked towards in college and the last year out of school working for the defense department in Germany. I know these things take time and its a marathon, not a sprint. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the appropriate time is around the 9-11 month range, by the time it happens you would have been there or anywhere else for a year.

its one way or the other: hate me or admire.
