I looked into the LSE Msc Philosophy and Public Policy,,, great program. 18 accepted for 55 applications which is a great % accepted for LSE standards.

That would go well with your interest.

MSc Development Management at LSE would be a better choice. They do consulting projects with NGOs as part of the degree.

You might consider SAIS, John's Hopkins grad school for international studies in DC. It is very well respected for work in this field as well.

I hear that Booz does a lot of government work. Do other consulting firms work with government, non-profits, and NGOs? I was thinking about getting an MPP from Brown and then break into one of these fields. Is this a good idea to pursue?

NPOs: Bridgespan, NPO arm of McK, FSG Social Impact Advisors

those firms seem really great, gib, but I bet the pay at actual non-profit, non-profit consulting firms is way small. Not that I am all about the hefty salary but I am not paying an arm and a leg, and taking out loans to work for 40k.

I would rather work for like the NPO arm of Mck, or Booz or ICF International.
