Applying for AM in Asia. Study Asia or U.S. market or both??
Hey guys. I'm a senior applying for FT Asset Management positions at BBs in Asia. I'm originally from Asia but I''m going to school in the U.S.
I understand that stock pitches and a good understanding of the markets are crucial for AM interviews. I also realize that my preparation time at this point is quite limited. So I was wondering if anyone knows in this case if I should focus on Asia stocks, or will I be OK pitching mainly U.S. stocks, or do I need to know a good deal about both markets?
Thanks!
If you know enough about Asian stocks do it. If not US stocks should be fine. Many AMs usually invest in US stocks anyway.
Thanks Beny23. Anyone else have any input?
