Goldman Private Wealth - Summer analyst

1) I am a 2nd year, and I was wondering how well being a summer analyst at GS in PWM would be looked upon. I know that private wealth management is looked down upon, but it is Goldman Sachs and it is a formal summer internship (http://www2.goldmansachs.com/careers/our-firm/div…) and the PWM group is located just a floor above IBD so I would probably see them sometimes.

2) Also, I have been invited to a "superday" for Goldman's PWM. It last from early morning till afternoon. Any idea what will go on during this timeframe? Multiple 30 minute interviews? Lunch provided (I hope?)

3) I am also considering working in the finance departments of Fortune 500s for the summer (Think Yahoo, Intel, and such). How would that look compared to PWM?

i was invited to the superday as well but i turned it down, because i already had an offer from Deutsche Bank sales and trading. But GS PWM is great, but in my honest opinion, if you want to do banking after, then corp. finance is stronger, because interviewers don't care very little about the name. They care more about what you learnt.
