UFC Under Interests Section?

Would it be a bad idea to put 'UFC' in the interests section of my resume? I've been told it may associate me with the negative stigma surrounding MMA -- it being violent, gorey, filled with dumb jocks, etc.

I have it on there right now because it's the sport I watch and care about the most; if the interviewer enjoys it too, I can speak considerably about it, but not sure if there's a risk of having it.

Thanks!

As someone who loves UFC, I have barely met anyone in the industry who likes combat sports. Even football fans consider UFC to be too gory, which is ironic as most football players end up with physical/mental issues because of how brutal the sport is. I usually mention it during the interview and it depending on the reaction I think about pursuing the convo further or switching it.

If you can, try to put something that is unique and unusual but something you like. Example: Cooking, horseback riding, etc. You want to be known as the guy/girl that is the "Italian chef expert", vs some common hobby like "i like going to the movies", etc.
