10B+ AUM Compensation
What is a fair compensation expectation transitioning into an acquisitions analyst/associate role (10B+ AUM)? I have 3+ years as an investment sales analyst at a large brokerage in the southeast.

Is the role in the Southeast? Assuming this is an LP?
Maybe $100-150k base? Seems in today's market firms are paying under market for more experience since there are so many candidates per role.
Yes to both questions. And thank you, that’s helpful. Kind of what I was expecting for the same reason…
I would say closer to $100k then for base. Know roles in NYC paying $90-130k for 2-4 years of experience then taking someone with 5-6 years and maybe giving a little bit more. It's an employers market.
Idk why anyone would want to be an employee in real estate if the comp is that bad. That’s absolute trash
People on this forum get paid terribly for some reason. If you’re at a top REPE fund you get paid well, that’s all there is to it
Any idea if Invesco is a good shop that pays decent?
Haha I’ve read invesco is one that pays low despite being big. But I don’t think it’s an intense culture
depends on the type of firm. MetLife and Starwood are going to pay very differently, despite both being "large" firms with similar RE AUM.
