This comes from a white boy that never had to struggle for anything, but the hate on drake is because he never had to grind.

He’s not one of those (and I quote, from Jadakiss I think) “ugly n-words” that had to sling dope and then move his way up; he was a pretty boy that blew up for singing songs, not writing raps.

Drake can be a funny character, and takes things personally sometimes, nobody’s gonna deny that probably not even him. But there’s no doubt that he’s the most commercially successful rapper or hip hop artist of his generation and honestly that he’s just fucking good at what he does.

People hate him because he doesn’t rap or sing about the usual topics and became successful despite being soft. I disagree with the assertion that he didn’t have to work hard man… Drake works incredibly fucking hard and puts out music consistently and tours consistently, he’s never taken 3-4 years off. He was never  lauded by the community like Kendrick or others have been since day 1, any respect Drake has received, he earned by doing shear numbers and dominating his craft year after year after year after….

Both of these guys are incredibly talented. Kendrick is better imo. In this conflict, which has nothing to do with musical talent, I side with Drake. He’s at the top of his game and still doesn’t get respect from his contemporaries, that shits gotta hurt.
