Best major for wall street?

Hi all,

I was recently admitted to Amherst college and can't decide on what major. I don't know exactly what job I want to pursue but I'm leaning towards consulting or investment banking. Something to do with finance for sure. The majors that I'm interested in are: computer science, economics, and philosophy. I love all three of these majors equally but this may change based on my experience with their classes once I attend college. Which major is the best? If I were to double major, which two should I pick? Any other majors I should consider?

I would greatly appreciate anyone's advice on this topic. I will also be an athlete at Amherst if that is a factor.

Thank you!

I don’t think it necessarily matters but i’d personally advise econ or comp sci. Just remember banks can be strict on gpa cutoffs so if you can’t guarantee a high gpa in something like comp sci i would not recommend.
