Looking to invest some of my capital into different funds (mutual funds, OEICs, trusts) across the US and UK. What platforms do you all use to learn more about different types of funds, what they do, what they hold, etc.?

Brooo don't invest in mutual funds. Index instead. The evidence against 1) active management, 2) Investors' track record in picking managers, 3) mutual funds are way too strong. But hey, it's your choice, do what's best for you, everyone is different
