What to Wear At a Team Lunch - IB Intern Edition

I have a team lunch in 2 weeks at a 4-star restaurant with terrace seating located in NYC. My firm has not yet returned to the office, and I have never met anyone in person, so this is the first time we're all meeting. I am a male intern and wanted to ask what would be appropriate to wear that day.

Thanks!

How pressed are you for cash?  What is the plan after the lunch?  Are you all just going home or continuing somewhere else?

Would probably wear a button up, blazer, dress pants and some dress loafers personally.  That might be too dressed up but nobody should be expecting you to throw on a full business suit and tie for a casual lunch - keep the colors on the darker side with a white / light blue shirt if you're nervous.  Light chinos / brown shoes and a dark blue blazer if you're feeling ballsy and don't wanna sweat.

Would probably guess the junior team is going to be hilariously under/over dressed and look somewhat of a mixed bag.  One kid is gonna show up in a polo and chinos, another is in a suit and tie with oxfords.  Show some confidence and own it whatever you decide to do, but again - personally would go with light brown chinos / white or pastel blue shirt / dark blue blazer / brown belt / brown dress loafers.  If you feel nervous about this go with dark blue suit pants, white shirt, maybe a patterned blazer and black dress loafers.

PM me the name of the restaurant if you want more specific recommendations.
