GSAM Insights?

Hi monkeys, any thoughts and updates on GSAM, culture, location and if it really is worth it instead of their IBD. I heard that back when GSAM started they were paying in line with NYC comp to attract talent from there, what does the comp situation look like now and the bonuses? is GSAM superior to IB in terms of exit to HFs instead of PE? What is A2A like? How does it compare to PWS? There were a bunch of threads from way back, 2009,12,14,18 but none fresher. Would want this to be the be all and end all thread for GSAM. Thank you!
