Bocconi, Erasmus and ICADE (Undergad - Target schools)
Hey guys,
I have the option of going to Erasmus, Bocconi (if I get accepted), ICADE and IE
I have eliminated IE because it is really expensive for what it really offers, its has worse bachelor reputation out of all of them, and its really easy to get in. I am also not really taking Bocconi into account because i dont really want to live in milan and I would only go there because it slightly increases my chances of getting an internship/first FT offer in London. (also most IB internships in Milan require fluency in Italian - which i dont have)
Then I have erasmus and ICADE:
-
ICADE is regarded a the top target school in Spain, (IE has a worse reputation in spain than internationally). Basically most Managers/heads/presidents of Banks (buldge bracket and Boutique) and PE firms, and they have very good relations with these. But ofc pay in Spain is quite ass. BTW the program I have been admitted to is Business analytics (so has quite some maths and computer science)
-
Erasmus is also probably the top target school in NL, but i must say that the difference is not so great. I have been admitted into Econometrics + Business Economics (at ESE, not RSM - btw its the same uni, different faculties). Also from the job offerings I have seen, it seems like there is less of an industry/sector in NL than in Spain. Also i prefer Madrid by a mile than rotterdam.
I would preferrably get an internship, and FT offer as an analyst in IB (all in the respective country). Then potentially move to London or get a masters there. But if i decide to stay in the country where i graduate, there is more opportunity and jobs in Madrid, than Amsterdam or wherever in NL.
What do you guys recommend?
Seems like are set with Erasmus. ICADE is a solid school but the problem is Spain itself... less opportunities and salaries are sad (not to say terrible)...
according to who/what are opportunities lower in Spain. I do know that NL has better salaries, but that doesnt mean more job opps
I mean job opp's that do not require local language.
Ohh, I am spanish though
