Merry christmas everyone!

This year was crazy. We had the FTX implosion, Liz Truss bombing the economy and forcing the BOE's hand, crazy inflation, crazy high rent prices here in London, the Debit Suisse restructuring, Elon Musk's joke LBO and bombing Twitter, many Wall Street banks and tech giants laying off thousands. Many of us are also coming out of recovering from the previous major depression - Covid.

However I'm sure we all have something to be grateful of this year. I certainly did. May 2023 be a rosy year of SA offers for students, FT offers for interns, buyside offers for analysts, promotions for those further up the food chain.

Happy new year.

Merry Christmas 🎄

my business failed. I think that in the long term it was for the best. I just got done working a seasonal job at a UPS warehouse. right now I'm pretty much just focused mainly on trying to make my music project more successful which I've been working on for about 6 months (started the project in June), I've put out 22 songs so far this year and have 8 songs that are works in progress right now and will come out as two separate 4 song EPs early next year. the most recent stuff that I've been putting out has been metalcore type of stuff. it's hard to be patient with it and not want things to happen faster in terms of starting to see some kind of traction but hopefully I can start to make the project more successful in 2023 (find a record label to work with). I've spent a couple grand to get songs done, and plan to spend more money to get more songs done and maybe get some guest features once I find a new job, so I am definitely invested in the project from a time and passion and money perspective.

I also need to find a new job since this one UPS warehouse job ended so trying to figure that out.

how's everything going with you?

Not the best year for all, but Merry Christmas indeed. Good time to self-reflect.
