Terminal value intuition
Hi all,
Can someone please explain to me the intuition behind the terminal value calculations below:
TV = CF to equity (1603.008) + Debt (800) - Interest (40) = 2363.008
I'm struggling to understand why interest is deducted in the calculations.
Note: This illustration above is from Damodaran's Investment Valuation textbook.
