I have 1.5 years in FDD and really want to lateral to IB as an analyst this year. Is networking the best way? Do I have to get an MBA?

I’m currently in a second city and want to move to Chicago. I’m perfectly fine with MM but want to get out of accounting and my foot in the door. Any other ways besides networking to make this happen this year?
