HK Real Estate IBD

Anyone know much about real estate investment banking groups in Hong Kong? I'd be interested in knowing anything you guys do about each banks size, repuation, culture, deal flow, etc... specifically:

  1. Which BBs have the best known / most active groups in REIB in HK?
  2. Do BBs have any particular specialty areas within RE that you know of?
  3. Culture of any of the groups
  4. Boutiques active in the space (I know M3 is down there, etc.)
  5. Do these groups (particularly at BBs) focus on pan-asia stuff, or mostly within HK / mainland?
  6. Are the people in these groups 99% chinese, or are there a lot of westerners? Fluency in Mandarin is likely a requirement - what about cantonese?
  7. I know that JPM special situation does principal investments in china real estate... do other groups have active REPE / REPIA, etc, groups in HK?

Thanks for any info anyone has.... I'm mostly just curious.
