you get booted. kidding.
jimbo i pm'ed you.
You end up in a shitty group. Not a joke....
that would blow.
You get kicked out of IBD into OPS...
gives you groups before training starts. but your managers get your scores. It forms a first impression of you in their minds. some analysts say work hard for these , they are important, others say what the heck are you doing at the office during training, go drink. Id still atleast pass tho just to be on the safe side.
you're allowed to take them again though. Do you think managers see both scores or just the final one?
My friend's BB said that in the first exam, 50% of the kids failed, including wharton kids. i doubt they kick you into ops.
Why you so worried about failing ? just study effin' hard and give it your best shot. No need to get menstrual about it.
i already took it. I just don't understand the material.
Number 2, im not getting 'menstrual' about it. It's a big deal to me, and Im wondering if I actually should be worried about results.
Dude weren't you the one bitching about not even being placed in banking?
How low did you score? Pot. Kettle. Black.
Read the thread again player, my scores were fine, I just had too many haters in the bank. But don't worry, I'm setting them up for a smackdown very soon.
Yeah man, with interpersonal skills like this you'll go far.
Looking forward to hearing about your retarded smackdown
I just finished memorizing Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" so I think I'm good bra
they see both scores (first tests and the final ones). If you fucked up on the first test, improving significantly on the final ones is a good sign, and will impress managers. either way, im fairly sure they see your test scores, and the initial amounts of responsibility you get, depend on these.
cool. thanks.
Bad grade on training exam (Originally Posted: 05/19/2016)
Didn't realize how intensive the WallStreetPrep exams were and thought that whatever I had retained from the course would be sufficient. Was definitely wrong and now have a "Failed" status for an integral course. I went through my mistakes and I understand a bunch of them (added an extra line item here and there). Will this have any effect on my summer stint? Bluntness is most appreciated.
No
We had an online WSP test that we had to take for FT training. I think I got like a 30%. Most others just didn't take it.
How difficult are these courses? I have my training exams coming up in the next few months and want to know what the best way to prepare is other than obviously just watching and taking notes on the recorded WSP lectures.
