Can i get past resume round without networking
Hi all,
Currently applying for IB 2024 SA roles. I am late to the process and to be honest, haven’t networked that much. However, it’s already mid-March and I feel like I can’t afford to wait for networking and then apply. Should I just keep applying straight away ? I am at a target and have some experience in consulting before but overall my resume is pretty average. Would appreciate any advice from you guys !
For top BB/EB and other top groups, no.
Anything else, yes. When I recruited for SA 2023 I got random interview invites from Nomura, RBC, Ardea, etc. with no networking, only resume drop/handshake application.
