BofA GIB Pitchbook Analyst Interview Tips & Review
Hey guys, I'm from India & I have got an interview lined up with Bank of America for the analyst position in their Global Investment Banking - Pitchbook team. What I've understood from the JD is that it's essentially an IB support role involving preparation of Pitchbooks, marketing materials & some level of financial analysis.
I was wondering if the lovely folks on this forum could provide some more clarity on the type of work, exposure, work life balance & the exit opportunities. Additionally, it would be immensely helpful if you could also throw some light on the type of questions that can be expected in the interview. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I currently have workex of around 20 months in a rating agency.
This is a back office support role pulling contacts/ companies for bd efforts. Would not recommend
Thanks for the reply. It was helpful. The JD also mentioned about working on financial modelling & valuations. Any idea the extent to which those things would be a part of the day to day work?
It’s back office so technicals is very niche and not related to IB at all
Thanks for the reply. Could you please elaborate a bit on the niche technicals part.
