Any fellow Canadians going to the States in 2019 for FT/SA start? How confidant do you feel about your visa?

Just wanted to see if there were any other kindred Canadians who have offers down South.

Personally - I'm a little worried because I have turned down, and will be turning down, slightly-worse Canadian jobs for a more lucrative, more prestigious job in the U.S. If visa issues prohibit me from passing the border, that would be really detrimental to my career.

On the firm's end, they (and the attorney working on it) has expressed confidence in my application. Obviously though, with this being such a pivotal driver, I'm still worried. I am graduating with a Commerce degree, as is pretty standard I would see, seeing as most schools here in Canada have undergraduate business programs.

How confidant/un-confidant should I be? How confidant/un-confdant is everyone else feeling? Wanted to gauge the general sentiment to see if I should be making any back-up plans.
