went thru fixed income process and got an offer but know someone at MS in IED (in the sales/salestrading/prime brokerage group) and he said they're generally the same type of process. R1 is mostly behavioral plus a bit market based. Have also heard of some "technicals" being asked in R1. SD should be mostly behavioral if you're going to the Equities S&T (and not the Equity Derivatives S&T). Honestly very smooth and low-stress process.

what would be the difference between the recruiting process for equities s&t and the quant focused equity derivatives program

By when do you think you should hear back for a spd? A week or longer?

The MS IED interview may ask questions about your experience in engineering design, knowledge of the software and tools you have used, and your design and development skills. Be prepared to talk about your professional achievements and projects you have been involved in, as well as discuss your strengths and challenges you have faced. It is helpful to brush up on basic engineering design principles and technical concepts so that you are prepared for technical questions.

Nah I haven’t heard back but I just assumed I got rejected. Any idea about the process?

I had a first round for that as well like almost a month ago now… it went really well and I still have not heard back
