college senior to business school

I have no decided one way or the other, but I was thinking of applying to business school my senior year of undergraduate. Does anyone know of any good books that might be like a guide to applying so young or even resources on other's prospectives of applying as a senior in undergrad?

Thanx.

You'll be wasting your time. The only schools you'll get into are schools that won't get you anywhere.

Yeah...but the 2+2 is not straight out of undergrad, its college + 2 years work+grad school. You just get the acceptance letter early (2 years).

So what do you do? -I work for an investment banking firm. Oh okay; you are like my brother, he works for Edward Jones. -No, a college degree is required in my profession

Reality hits you hard, bro...

Your current major does matter. If you studying business right now, going to b school is a tremendous waste of time and money. My school has a similar program to the HBS 2 + 2 program. Overall, students who pursue this program are idiots. One girl, who was going finance ug, finance in b school, said: "It's great. All the classes are essentially the same."

What a fucking waste.

but if you're going from, say, Art, to business, then there may be value in going straight through. The downside is: you'll have an MBA (or other masters) but it won't mean shit because you don't have any work experience. The best way to do it is UG Work B School.

Hi DaniNo,

I'm not sure about any books written specifically for your targeted group, but I would strongly recommend that you review at least one business school guide such as the one from BusinessWeek. Please note I'm not suggesting that you allow such a book to override your primary research efforts, but such secondary data can often help form a good cornerstone for the all-important business school selection process.
