Biz School Admissions for Entrepreneur

I am currently a sophomore at a Top 10 undergrad school and I have been increasingly thinking about business school out of undergrad. Last spring I started a web based venture with an additional partner which has organically grown pretty substantial (8+ employees, annual revenues in 6 figures). The benefits of business school are popping up especially the need to expand my network as well as leadership/accounting/management training.

So I am wondering whether its worth it for me to apply to HBS or Stanford to go into biz school right out of undergrad? My GPA is not phenomenal(its going to sit in the 3.2-3.3 range) but I expect my business to be generating 1+ mill in revenues in 09. Where should I focus on my profile in order to optimize my chances (other than my business which is my #1 priority at present as I expect to continue it post grad)? Have you guys seen people with similar profiles get into HBS/Stanford?

Wow. Yeah it seems that Harvard would love you. At minimum apply for the 2+2 program and start studying for the GMAT. Your GPA isn't nearly as important for Business School as it is for college or other graduate programs. Harvard's median is only a 3.6, which is incredibly low relative to all of their other programs.

I'm definitely not an expert though, so I would focus on the grades, the company and take the GMAT. If I were you, I'd tap into your alumni network to find alums who went to those business schools and ask their advice. Also, if your school has a business school, you can probably talk to an admissions officer there. I know at my school, our Business School is really helpful for the undergrads.
