The first combination doesn’t have the same points but the second one is correct. I’m assuming you meant AAA and AAB have the same point. Either way they are just a filtering system but when you come across on LinkedIn you are right that mostly people with high grades get the springs but to convert or get summer roles I don’t think they differentiate between AAA and AAB much as your performance and likability/fit matters way more than
