Brokerage vs advisory at colliers/JLL/CBRE?

What is the difference between the brokerage teams and advisory teams at these places? Colliers for example lists on their website that they do:

1.Joint Ventures & Recapitalizations
2.Strategic Partnerships
3. M&A & Vend-Ins
4. Real Estate Company & Platform Transactions
Transaction & Capital Structuring

This sounds to me like company level transactions and REIT advisory, hence “real estate company and platform transactions”

Can pls someone confirm the key differences that I would see working in the brokerage team versus advisory team at one of these places?

Thank you!
