Incomplete degree on resume

I started to pursue a master in finance straight after my undergraduate studies but had to dropout for personal reasons after completing a semester. After working for 1.5 years I'm going to start another course at a different university and I was wondering if I should even include the incomplete studies on my resume? If I don't include it there would be a huge gap on my resume so I'm not sure whether including it would hurt my profile more.
